Author Guidelines

1. Manuscript Categories

IJBTE accepts the following types of scholarly contributions:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Papers

  • Case Studies and Practice-based Papers

  • Short Communications

  • Conceptual and Theoretical Papers

  • Book Reviews (on request)


2. Manuscript Structure

All submissions must be written in clear English and structured as follows:

  1. Title Page

    • Title (Concise and descriptive)

    • Author(s) full name, institutional affiliation(s), email(s), and ORCID (if available)

    • Corresponding author indicated

  2. Abstract

    • 150–300 words

    • Briefly state the objective, methodology, key findings, and conclusion

    • Include 4–6 keywords

  3. Main Text
    Typical structure for research papers:

  • Introduction

  • Literature Review

  • Methodology

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion and Recommendations

  • References

  1. Acknowledgments (if any)

  2. Funding Statement (if applicable)

  3. Conflict of Interest Declaration


3. Formatting Requirements

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12

  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing

  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides

  • Length: 4,000–7,000 words (excluding references)

  • Referencing Style: APA 7th Edition

5. Submission Procedure

  • Authors must submit manuscripts electronically via the OJS platform at https://sbsijbtefpa.com

  • All submissions must include a cover letter briefly describing the submission and confirming that it has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • Authors must accept the journal's Copyright Notice and Privacy Statement during submission.

  • Manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.


6. Publication Frequency

IJBTE is published bi-annually. Special issues may be announced periodically.


7. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must follow the Publication Ethics guidelines available on the journal’s website.

  • Use of AI tools like ChatGPT must be transparently disclosed in the methodology or acknowledgments, and authors remain responsible for the content.
